A mock military battle staged on July 3rd, 1876, in honor of the US Centennial anniversary. Sea Battle on San Francisco bay is pictured, sailing vessels are visible. Spectators in horse-drawn carriages and on foot are visible on the grass in the foreground, smoke rises from the field beyond. 1 tent is also pictured. Negative, no. 19,677 (4x5 in.)
