Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph article dated September 11, 1963 partially reads, "Unveiling a new coach, a new offense and a bevy of new faces, Burbank High's football team is busily pounding the turf in preparation for a nine-game schedule during the 1963 season... The new coach is Pete LiPera and his offense will be the wing T, deviating from Ham Lloyd's successful fly or pro T formations. LiPera, 32, a three-year letterman at Burbank during the 1948-50 campaign, moved up from the B team to replace Lloyd, who has accepted a newly created administrative position at the school." Photograph caption reads, "Two key men in Burbank High's 1963 grid plans - Quarterback Leigh Hilt throws while Bernie Bayless blocks."
