Description: Three women and a man pose in the interior of Mrs. Josephine Ricketts' millinery and dressmaking shop. In addition to hats, there are many examples of floral decorations on display in the shop.

Master images scanned at 300 dpi and scaled to 6000 pixels on the longest side. Bit depth: grayscale at 8-bit; color at 24-bit. Images compressed to 800 pixels across the long dimension and to JPEG format. Scanning outsourced to Luna Imaging Inc. as part of an LSTA Grant funded by the California State Library in 2003-2004. Scanning hardware is unknown.
