Description
Elevated view looking at the corner of West Fifth Street and Olive Street in downtown Los Angeles, California, and focused on Clune's Auditorium Building, later renamed the Philharmonic Auditorium (427 West Fifth Street), with Henry J. Martin's Auditorium Pharmacy storefront (435 West 5th) at the corner, and the California Club building (451 South Hill Street) visible to the right of the Auditorium; with Central Park (later renamed Pershing Square) at right across the street, and an electric streetcar and automobiles visible.
Title and date devised by cataloger based on handwritten note in pencil on verso: "Auditorium & California Club Bld's opposite Central Park, 5th & Hill Sts., Los Angeles Cal. (Bailey) 1909-10."
