Photograph caption dated September 14, 1963 reads, "The Granada Hills Little League All-Stars, World Champions of Little League, will have their own home baseball park next spring. Nails Walker, 13, Fred Seibly, 11, and Dave Sehnem, 15, from left, members of the team, are shown with Leonard Shane, president of the Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Commission, center, and Minton Brown, Granada Hills Little League Baseball Inc. head, looking over plans for the proposed site. Officials said a 17-acre site at the corner of Rinaldi St. and Haskell Ave. will be developed into a recreational center."
