Lumbering over downtown pavement in Los Angeles' first circus parade in many years, elephants of the Cole Bros.-Clyde Beatty circus are shown when they paraded today. Throngs turned out to thrill to the music of the calliope and the horse-drawn gaily-colored wagons with their cargoes of wild beasts. The circus is playing at Washington and Hill for the next four days. Photo dated: September 21, 1936.
