Description
In the mid-20th century freshman orientation could be a formidable affair. This photo shows freshmen battling sophomores for possession of the "dink", a beanie freshmen weere required to wear throughout their first year at Santa Clara. If the freshmen were successful in capturing the beanie, they would not have to wear it thereafter.
