Description: A view of the Japanese garden after a rare southern California snowfall. The image was taken facing west, with the Drum Bridge on the left and a thatched hut on the right. MS note on verso of one copy reads "1/11/48" and "Huntington grounds". MS note on verso of second copy reads "Huntington grounds" and "snow of Jan 11, 1949". Correct date is January 11, 1949.
