Mosaic plaque dedicated by the Native Daughters of the Golden West, Topanga Parlor 269 (misspelled on sign) commemorating the historic Old Santa Susana Stage Road - the trail across the Santa Susana Pass from Chatsworth to Simi Valley, once part of the main route from Los Angeles to San Francisco. The plaque is embedded in the rock near a portion of the trial called 'Devil's Slide.' Photograph dated September 13, 1961.
