Description
This 1988 postcards shows an artist's rendition of the future site of KVIE (Channel 6) in the Natomas area of Sacramento, California. KVIE had been operating from a wooden frame and stucco building off of the Garden Highway since it first went on air in 1959. The new station would be located at the intersection of Interstate 5 and West El Camino Avenue and, as the back of the postcard states, just five minutes away from downtown, Sacramento.
