The Lutheran Church Synod at Kaohsiung, November 18-19, 1956. Arnold Chang was one of the representatives from Taipei. He is working in a business firm, speaking excellent English, he was eg. the interpreter for Secretary General of DMS, Rev. Conrad Rendtorff. He spoke strongly in favour of church independence as soon as possible, to enable the Mission to start working elsewhere. (Used in: Dansk Missionsblad no. 9/1957).
