Description
Note: "Empfang des Gouverneurs in Kumase am 12. Okt. 26. Zwischen Fähnrich u. Gouverneur steht Lehrer Martinson, rechts vom Gouv. Lehrer Obeng, dahinter Basler Schüler." (D-30-0,2). Note translation: "CSIE" is probably to be read like "KSIE", a frequent abbreviation for Kumase. (PJ 05.1999). - "Reception for the Governor in Kumase on 12th October 1926. Teacher Martinson is standing [sic] between the standard-bearer and the Governor. To the right of the Governor stands Teacher Obeng. Behind him are the pupils of the Basel school." (D-30-0,2) Stamped: "Museum der Basler Mission, Basel, Missionsstrasse 21."
