Description
Group portrait of men in front of building. "The gentlemen setting down in the left of this photo is David Meldrum who was California State gardner from 1882 till 1890 the other gentlemen were his helpers. The building is the old tool house, it stood on spot half way between Land N Sts on a path or line that runs where the track now runs from 12th & L to 12th & N Sts." -- on verso, notes by J. Shannon, grandson of David Meldrum.
