Description
Photograph of weekend beach-goers at the Long Beach shore, ca.1925. Two adolescent boys stand in their bathing costumes looking towards the camera, a young woman standing to the right of them with her hand on her hip doing the same. The smallest boy holds a collapsed miniature umbrella in his hands. Surrounding them, other beach-goers lounge beneath a gauntlet of sun umbrellas. In the background, various others play at the waters edge or in the surf itself.
