Photograph caption dated May 24, 1965 reads, "Members of the Montrose Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team lower Richard Andrus, 12, of Glendale to safety after he and a friend became lost and stranded on a ledge during a hike. The two boys, both Boy Scouts, were lost Saturday morning and rescued three hours later."
