Camp Whitsett is located at Forest Rte 22S82, Kernville, California.
Photograph caption dated August 15, 1950 reads, "The plaque located on the new 14 foot dam at Camp Whitsett is in appreciation for the many people who donated time and material to build the concrete structure. Lake Ida is named for Mrs. W. P. Whitsett, whose husband endowed the camp."; See images #00136045 through #00136046 for all photos in this series.
