This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
Text written to right of photo: "Parad [sic] of Women November 4th 1922 favoring passage of the Wright Prohibition Enforcement Act look [sic] east on Market Street from O'Farrell." View looks towards the intersection of Market, Kearny, and 3rd. The women are dressed in white. Some are holding flags and signs. One is pushing a baby carriage. Four streetcar tracks are seen on Market. The Palace Hotel, and the Monadnock, Hearst and Call Buildings are visible on the right side of the street. The Mutual Savings, Chronicle, Crocker, and Hobart buildings can be seen on the left.
