Shows Victorian-style building, two-story, with ornate tower in center. Trees and fences line street. Two men visible on street - one watering, the other in wheelchair. "1881" and "Hospital and Almshouse" on signs above entrance.
Stanislaus County Hospital and Almshouse established in 1891. Closed in 1997. Was built on Cemetery Road.
