The photograph was taken from a narrow walkway lined with brick walls. An arch-shaped doorway can be seen at center and is flanked by two metal gates. The archway looks out on Ferguson Alley. In the foreground and left, two potted plants are visible. In the background at center, across the alley, the Hung W. O. Hong Chinese Drug Store is visible.
