Selection of envelopes and ephemera taken out of a framed presentation; appear to have been collected to document the San Jose Post Office. 1) Two envelopes to Mrs. Ethel Bull, Route 2, Box 202, San Jose via air mail (postmarked 1930, 1936) 2) Envelope addressed to Mrs. Amia B. Tyfe, 316 E. St. James Street, San Jose, from the San Francisco Mines of Mexico, Ltd. (postmark illegible) 3) Envelope addressed to County Charife Department [sic] from the Hotel Jefferson, San Jose, with Yosemite 1 cent stamps, postmarked 1934 4) Letter and envelope from Hisajiro Inouye to Mrs. Weston of San Jose, dated November 5, 1943. Inouye writes from internment at BK. G-2, Detention Station, Santa Fe, New Mexico. 5) Letter to Mrs. Maude Weston, Box 202, Route 2, from the College of Notre Dame, San Francisco, postmarked 1937. 6) Letter to the County Welfare Department, 226 N. Market Street, San Jose, on 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition commemorative envelope, postmarked from San Francisco. 7) Annual Report of the Post Office, San Jose, California, 1899-1900
