Photograph caption dated November 11, 1983 reads, "After The Blast: Firefighters examine wreckage of Glendale apartment damaged yesterday in what is believed to be a natural gas explosion. Walls on two sides of the building, located at 556 Arden Ave., were blown out and the door to the damaged unit was hurled across the street. No injuries were reported and damage is believed to be in excess of $200,000, a Glendale fire official said. Several nearby cars also were damaged."
