H.S. Graves & Frank H. Graves Home. This home was built around 1870 and located on North Butte Road (North Side of Sutter Buttes) by Henry S. Graves. After Henry Graves died, his widow Mary and family lived in the home until 1890 when the oldest son, Frank Henry Graves and his wife Lillie Zumwalt. Graves moved into the home. Frank's and Lillie's children: Jessamine, Graves Powell, Cletus Graves, Frank Graves Jr. and Helen Graves Becker were all born in the home. The lady in the picture is Mary Graves (by gate). The man standing by the buggy is Henry Graves. Jessie Powell.
