Description
Portrait of Captain Thomas Fallon, with caption, "A Free Lance." During the Bear Flag Revolt of 1846, Fallon led a group of volunteers to secure the Pueblo of San Jose. Ten years later, he came to live in San Jose. His home has been preserved as a museum, The Fallon House.
