Description
Four views of entrance and grounds of the W.K. Jewett residence (Martin's Log lists this at Oak Knoll; the Pasadena City Directory, 1919-1920, at 1201 Arden Rd.) View 1 (Martin-4211). Entrance from yard of Mediterranean villa-style residence, lawn and marble fountain at right, stairs at center, three arch portico, pillars, tile roof, veranda on second story -- view 2 (Martin-4212). Entrance from semi-circular drive, one arch portico, pillars, balcony above, multi-paned windows -- view 3 (Martin-4213). Vertical, from under arch looking out, lawn, marble fountain in foreground, pool beyond -- view 4 (Martin-4214). From portico looking out onto long rectangular lawn, fountain and bench at distant end.
