Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on March 17, 1967 states: "If there is enough water for flood conditions, U.S. 50 near Wildwood Avenue in South Lake Tahoe is the first to get it. The flooding, however, was not serious. The only damage from melting snow and heavy rain in the area was to the ski areas which lost much of their snowpack."
