This is a photograph of " Fr. Ruppert's mission mountain trail." At the base of the mountain is water and boats. Born in Iowa, Fr. Ruppert came to Maryknoll in 1920 and was ordained to the priesthood on September 23, 1923. He then was assigned to Kongmoon and Wuchow in 1926. He was the Society Superior in Wuchow in 1930. He returned to the United States in 1933 and worked on promotion for many years. He was also the Society Superior in Hawaii from 1944-1949.
