Photograph article dated August 12, 1964 partially reads, "Population growth and development of the Valley, coupled with the constant increase in land values, is rapidly accelerating the trend to multi-story construction. Recently started are an eight-story medical and dental building at 16260 Ventura Blvd. and an eight-story office building at 16262 Ventura Blvd., both in Encino. Among plans for tall structures are two 13-story office buildings in Sherman Oaks and the construction of a 19-story building along the north side of Ventura Blvd. between Orion Ave. and the San Diego Freeway." Panorama Towers, 13 stories, was the Valley's tallest building located at 8155 Van Nuys Blvd. and corner of Roscoe Blvd., Panorama City.; See images #00120945 through #00120947 for all photos in this series.
