Photograph caption dated August 3, 1961 reads, "The dog, Jethro, pictured with his owner, Gordon Miller, 19911 Gresham St., Northridge, has completed novice dog-obedience classes and is training in the advanced division named Utility, which is termed 'a college degree for animals.''' 'Jethro' is going through training with the Companion Dog Training Club.
