Connie and Gael begin the interview discussing the main character in the book and his being a womanizer before moving on to the role of his profession and its importance to his relationships with women. They proceed to discuss the differences in how men and women love before moving on to discuss Gael’s literary career, and the risks involved in calling herself a novelist. Gael then relates how her own personal history with men relates to the book, as well as her own writing approach to novels. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
