Description: Just to prove it could be done, George Young, chairman of Hollywood Stars Board of Directors, pour gasoline on beams of the new Hollywood Baseball park, while Bob Cobb, Vice-president of the team, supplies the blow torch. The material is treated with fireproof chemicals so that while the gas burns, the wood's not even scoreched! Photo dated: April 24, 1939.
