Photograph caption dated October 7, 1935 reads, ""Busby Berkeley in Court with Attorneys, Wins Delay. Left to Right-Attorney Milton Cohn, Berkeley, Attorney Jerry Giesler."" Berkeley was on trial for manslaughter after he was involved in a car crash where two women, Ada von Briesen and Peggy Daley, died in September 1935. Two trials resulted in hung juries, and he was acquitted after a third trial.
