Ed Victor discusses his book, “The Obvious Diet.” He begins by explaining that he believes weight loss is simple, as long as people are able to stick to a healthy meal plan. He talks about moving to London as a graduate student and the positive change in British cuisine over the last 40 years. Victor’s main advice is that more people should order things that are not on the menu, and allow the chef to customize a meal based on what the customer wants. He discusses his career history and the differences between being an editor, publisher, and a literary agent. He ends the interview by talking about how it felt to be an author for the first time instead of being an agent.
