Description
This 1929 photograph shows a man putting on the green at the ninth hole at the Del Paso Country Club. In the background is the clubhouse, which was built in 1916. The structure's interior was adorned with oak furniture and a number of Oriental-style tapestries and rugs. There also were designated lounging areas for men and women. Other amenities included a bowling alley, billiard tables, an open-air swimming pool and tennis courts.
