Photograph of people fishing off the side of the Redondo Beach pier, ca.1940. The pier is at center and people line the left side of the structure. Dozens of fishing rods can be seen. There are several buildings on the pier at right, and curved light posts are visible along the entire length of the pier. In the background at left, several beach clubs can be seen on the shore. Legible signs include, from left to right: "Sandwiches", and "Coca Cola".
