Photograph caption dated March 16, 1963 reads "Altrusa Club of Toluca Lake president, Maurie Luxford, visits Kathy Merten, 4, Van Nuys, and Gary Mason, 3, North Hollywood, as they play in area enclosed with fence purchased with funds donated by the Altrusa Club to the YWCA, 5703 Laurel Canyon Blvd., North Hollywood. Mrs. Melba Francis of the YWCA looks on. The children play in the enclosed area while their mothers attend meetings at the YWCA."
