Description
The official publication of the Gospel spreading church of God. This 12 page issue features "Wine Is A Mocker," by Walter D. Roman. He quotes the late Billy Sunday, "The saloom is a liar. It promises good cheer and sends sorrows. It promises prosperity and sends adversity. It promises happiness and sends misery. It is God's worst enemy and the devil's best friend." Proverbs20:1
Habakkuk 2:25. Proverbs 23:29, etc. Each issue has a "Letters from our Readers section," "Calling All Youth," "The Holy Bible Word Puzzle," and "Sunday School Lessons for the Month." Lightfoot S. Michaux, founder, known as the Radio Preacher and Mary E. Michaux, co founder. The center fold has the history of "The Happy Am I Radio Broadcast with archival pictures of Eleanor Roosevelt, Gene Autry and several choirs in the background at the National Press Building, Washington, D.C.
