Title supplied by cataloger. Mr. Blackwell was born Richard Sylvan Selzer in Brooklyn, New York, on August 29, 1922. He was a fashion designer, fashion critic, journalist and radio and television personality. He became best known for his "Best and Worst Dressed" lists, issued annually from 1960 to 2007, and for his Academy Awards fashion reviews. Blackwell worked and lived with his partner Robert Spencer for more than 60 years. He died on October 19, 2008. Pictured are fashion designer Mr. Blackwell and his partner Robert L. Spencer.
