Description
The Tahoe City dam and outlet at Lake Tahoe. The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on October 24, 1961 states: "Just how low the water level is getting to be in Lake Tahoe is indicated by the men in hip boots working at the outlet in Tahoe City (subject photo), with water only more than ankle deep. In the picture, far right (photo 7868), taken in June, 1958, the swirling water is more than head high."
