Description
View looking up Hill Street from Sunnyside Avenue. Photo was taken during the winter of 1906-07. Homes center left to right are 45 Buena Vista, 49 Buena Vista, 59 Buena Vista and 63 Buena Vista. Home behind and slightly left of 49 Buena Vista is 55 Oakdale, while home to the right of 55 Oakdale is 61 Oakdale. Homes on Buena Vista Avenue are in the Sunnyside Tract, while homes on Oakdale Avenue are in "Sunny Heights", otherwise known as the Gardner Tract. Made in Germany for W. I. Price, Mill Valley, Cal. (One of a series of Mill Valley postcards published by Price in 1907 after the divided back style postcard was made legal that year.) Description provided by Phil Rhodes.
