Photograph caption dated March 19, 1959 reads, "Danny, left, and brother, Johnnie, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Buell Swaim, 1611 Fermoore St., San Fernando, pay their respects to their pet dachshund Trixie being surrounded by healthy litter of eight brown-eyed puppies. It was unusual trick for Trixie to multiply her family by as many offspring -- seven male puppies and one female."
