Warriors dressed as North Africans perform a dance at the 1928 Pacific Southwest Exposition in Long Beach accompanied by Native Americans in feathered headdresses. The Exposition was launched to commemorate the landing of the Spanish padres and the founding of California. The Exposition buildings, designed by architect Hugh R.
