Description
Hewlett-Packard oscillator Model 200BR. See attached PDF of product literature. The 200A oscillator was Hewlett-Packard's first product, and its successor, Model 200B, was used onsite by Disney sound engineers in cinemas throughout the country to monitor low frequency recording levels during performances of the original "Fantasia" movie. Designed to mimic the sound of a live orchestra, Disney's pioneering "Fantasound" required an elaborate setup of sound and projector equipment in each theatre, and real-time mixing of the soundtrack.
