Description
Photograph of workers in an unidentified food factory, ca.1930. A thin young man stands in the center wearing a lightly colored shirt tucked into similar colored pants. The man looks to the right as he holds a jar filled with a dark liquid on the end of a tube with his left hand. In his right hand he holds an empty jar next to a large tray of identical empty jars. The machine to the right contains four tubes that seem to fill the bottles while three full bottles sit in a row on a narrow platform. In the background, a second man stands facing forward while small cylindrical containers can be seen against the wall.
