Description
Image of a king in robes and hose surrounded by various characters in ethnic costume reveling and drinking beer, including a German barmaid, a Zouave soldier, Uncle Sam, an Arabian man, a Chinese man with a long braid, a Native American, a barkeep, and three gnomes trying to keep a goat from ramming a man who has fallen to the ground with his beer stein; scrolls with text in German advertising Bavarian beer flank the center advertisement text; vignettes in the two bottom corners show the interiors of a brewing vat and a barrel room full of brewery workers.
