Description
Charles Pignone discusses his book, “The Sinatra Treasures.” He begins by explaining how he met Frank Sinatra and became the president of his fan club. He talks about how his book is not a biography but rather a collection of memorabilia from the Sinatra family archives. Pignone describes specific photographs from the archive and shows how the book includes postcards, a photo album, interviews, and a compact disc of previously unreleased Frank Sinatra material. He discusses Sinatra’s friendships with celebrities like Judy Garland, Dean Martin, Grace Kelly, and the Rat Pack. He ends the interview by talking about Sinatra’s political contributions and charity work.
