Photograph caption dated April 17, 1961 reads, "Participating in groundbreaking ceremonies for the new $106,000 Northridge Woman's Club building are club president Mrs. William Hunter, foreground, with Northridge Chamber of Commerce president Nathan Freedman and Mmes. William Bennett, left rear; Frank Park, Ben F. Wetzel, Raymond Saltonstall and George Drake, members of the club building committee. The clubhouse will be located at 18401 Lassen St. in Northridge."
