Description
Ray Shannon discusses his novel, “Man Eater.” He begins by explaining how his real name is Gar Anthony Haywood, but he decided to write this book under an alias so his readers wouldn’t get confused. He says the book is about a gangster who gets humiliated by a businesswoman in a bar fight, and decides to get revenge on her. He talks about how he wanted to write the story of a tough woman who could handle herself in any situation. Shannon talks about several of his other characters in the novel including a pizza deliveryman that is hired to kill the gangster. He describes some of the other books he’s written as well as screenplays and television scripts. He ends the interview by talking about how he got his first novel published after entering it in a mystery writer’s contest.
