Description
Letter requests Carson clarify itemization of check sent to him for rent on land lease as well as the sale of two pumps on his land. He refers to an individual, presumably a tenant on the land, Mr. Muranaka. See Carson's response at Item csudh_rsp_1112, also referring to the mass removal ("evacuation") of persons of Japanese ancestry from the West Coast as directed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Executive Order 9066. Letter refers to Santa Fe and Alameda street names.
