This section of Macy Street was renamed Ce´sar E. Cha´vez Avenue in 1994.
Cars travel northeast on the Ramona Boulevard Roadway, later Interstate 10, near where Aliso Street and Pleasant Avenue meet (center) in Boyle Heights. The Macy Street Bridge is on the left and a Foster and Kleiser billboard for Grant's whiskey is present in the center. Photograph dated April 4, 1950.
