Description: MARINE ROYALTY Sheri Reay, a 19 year old police science major at Sacramento State College , is crowned Miss Marine Recruiter, 1969, by Sgt. Robert Vaughn as Gy. Sgt. R. R. Ross holds a mirror to aid in the "coronation". Miss Reay will represent the Marine Corps in Thursday's Golden Spike Parade. Sgt. Ross, a seventeen year veteran with the Marine Corps, recently returned from duty in Vietnam. He is the new non-commissioned officer in charge of the Sacramento Marine recruit office.
